This gallery is a showcase for my original encaustic paintings.
I have been an artist all my life, my early work being mainly of watercolours and oils. However,
several years ago, while visiting a local art exhibition, I was introduced to a form of painting which
took my breath away....that of encaustic wax art. It was a medium that I had not heard of before
and so I decided to do some research and that led me to meeting the encaustic artist Barry Moulton,
whose work still is very inspirational to me. After that I then decided that I needed to try
encaustic art for myself!
I have now been an encaustic artist for several years and now work exclusively with that medium.
My main genre of art is that of fantasy, but if you browse the different galleries on this website
you will see that my work is in fact quite diverse.
I exhibit my work regularly throughout Essex and Suffolk, and I also co-host an online gallery for
encaustic artists, which has members world-wide.
All the work displayed on this website is for sale, with prices to suit most purses! Details are listed
with the paintings.
